In preparation for the new decade, with the year 2020, the famous group of artists Postmodern Jukebox is going around the world with the Welcome to the Twenties 2.0 Tour and will arrive in Bucharest, on November 3rd, at Sala Palatului.
The tour aims to open the doors to a new era in music, an era in which Scott Bradlee, creator of Postmodern Jukebox, wants a return to the styles and artistry that made the music of previous generations immortal.
“In the last century, the 1920s gave us Jazz, the purest form of American art. What will the 1920s bring us this century?” asks Bradlee. “One thing’s for sure: the world is tired of clickbait, mediocre reality shows, and the addiction to phones that has done nothing but divide us lately. We want to tell people to forget about all that, put their worries aside, at least for one night, and come join us so they can enjoy themselves – in real life! – of really talented artists, powerful voices, clean sound, in short, a 100% live concert!”
Postmodern Jukebox’s 2019 Welcome to the Twenties 2.0 Tour spans 250 cities. Millions of people will feel the retro vibe of famous songs from the music of the last few years – pop, rock or R&B – masterfully reinterpreted by PMJ artists.
“When we create the concept for a tour,” says Bradlee, “we focus a lot on choosing the best voice for each song, because that’s the only way you can feel authentic emotion and build an amazing experience for fans. Get ready for a sensational 1920s-style party with a live performance like the Great Gatsby era!”
Founded by Scott Bradlee in 2009, Postmodern Jukebox has over a billion views of his songs on YouTube, with 3.5 million subscribers on his channel and over 1.7 million Facebook fans. Over the past 5 years, PMJ has had hundreds of sold-out concerts on 6 continents. They’ve performed on the hit TV show “Good Morning America”, climbed to the top of iTunes and Billboard charts, and turned stars like Beyonce, Adam Levine (Maroon5), Gwen Stefani, Blondie, Ashton Kutcher, Zoey Deschanel and Elisabeth Banks into fans.
