Canadian superstar Bryan Adams comes to Cluj to dress BTarena in light, and our souls with his wonderful voice!
Bryan Adams will take the stage in BTarena on November 11, 2019, to sing with the audience both his unforgettable hits – “It’s Only Love”, “Summer of ’69”, “Run To You” or “All for Love”, and his newest single, written in collaboration with Ed Sheeran – “Shine a Light”.
“I met Ed in Dublin and we kept in touch. One day, I sent him a recording of the choir sounds found in <> and asked him if he’d be interested in a collaboration. Then I got some lyrics from him and… oh my God,” said Bryan Adams.
“Shine a Light” also gave the name to Bryan Adams’ fourteenth album, which blends several musical styles, as well as another surprise collaboration, for the single “That’s How Strong Our Love Is”.
“I’m excited to release a 12-track album combining rock, pop and R&B genres. The new album will also feature a duet with Jennifer Lopez,” Adams revealed. He described the collaboration with Jennifer as “a dream”.
And the string of reasons we’re excited about Bryan Adams’ arrival doesn’t stop there. The Canadian, who made a splash with hits like “Please Forgive Me”, “Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman” and “Everything I Do”, has not only kept his unmistakable, husky, masculine voice intact, but will be taking to the stage in Cluj just 5 days after his 60th birthday!
Incidentally, Bryan is touring to promote his album “Shine a Light”, a tour that started on 25 February 2019, playing concerts in the United States, South America and Europe.
The artist’s last LP was 2015’s “Get Up,” which reached #2 on the UK charts, #1 in Switzerland and #99 on the US Billboard 200.
Bryan Adams is also a songwriter, producer, guitarist, photographer, philanthropist and activist. The album that brought him international recognition was “Reckless”, material that included the hits “Run to You” and the mega hit “Summer of ’69”.
His songs have appeared on the soundtracks of famous films such as “Robin Hood” (“Everything I Do I Do It For You”), “Don Juan” (“Have You Really Loved A Woman”), “The Mirror Has Two Faces” (“I Finally Found Someone” – duet with Barbra Streisand), “Three Musketeers” (“All for Love” with Rod Stewart and Sting). He has had 20 hits in the US TOP 10, and is the first Canadian artist with an L.P. on the chart.
In his 40+ year career, Bryan Adams has sold over 75 million albums and has 15 Grammy nominations and 3 Oscar nominations to his credit. He has received the Order of Canada for his contributions to music and his philanthropic activities.
So far, Bryan has only visited Romania’s capital city for concerts in 2000 and 2008, when 20,000 people came to sing with him.

Tickets will go on sale on Wednesday 28 August on Eventim.ro, as well as in the network of partner shops – Vodafone, Telekom, Diverta, Cărturești, Carrefour and OMV petrol stations. Ticket prices range from 129 to 399 lei.
