To be, feel and experience rock is timeless – regardless of age, standards or the evolution of technology. A long-awaited concert, an experience that you see, hear and breathe will remain one of those moments that leave you speechless. And when the band on stage brings the same cry for freedom and the same message that is as relevant today as it was almost 30 years ago, words are meaningless anyway because music speaks and inspires.
Once again, the wind of change will be heard in Bucharest on 12 June at Romexpo in a collector’s item concert by the legendary German band Scorpions, part of the Crazy World Tour.
Originally from Hanover, the band was born from the initiative of guitarist Rudolf Schenker and made a name for itself in the 1980s with songs that were on everyone’s lips, such as “No One Like You”, “Still Loving You” and “Rock You Like A Hurricane”, while establishing itself as Germany’s most important heavy band. The ballad ‘The Wind Of Change’, a symbol of Europe’s powerful political changes in 1989, quickly became a worldwide hit, being the best-selling single of 1991. In short, these are the Scorpions – one of the longest running rock bands, with over 50 years in the business and over 100 million albums sold, whose music sounds as good as the first day and who illustrate the same ideals that keep us human, alive and moving forward.
