Adored by millions for the provocative truth in his messages, pilloried by critics for exactly the same thing, Banksy, the world’s best-known graffiti artist, has become, according to the Times magazine, one of the 100 most influential people on the planet, though he is still an anonymous figure. There are countless speculations about his identity.
The exhibition “The Art of Banksy. Without Limits” will open its doors for the first time in Poland, in Warsaw on 12 February 2021.
It contains more than 100 works by the artist – photographs and prints, some of them specially reproduced for this event. Included in the exhibition is a documentary giving details of his life and work, and all are presented in a unique setting. The exhibition offers a very special experience and is a ‘must see’ to celebrate his art and to bring it to as many people as possible.
The exhibition can be visited from 12 February to 19 September 2021 Centrum Praskie Koneser, Plac Konesera, Warsaw.
Part of the profits will be donated to the Louise Michel Foundation to support the cause of refugees in Syria, says Events.
